The State of Maine Governor’s Office of Energy Independence and Security works in conjunction with other departments of state government, the Legislature, and private and nonprofit sectors to provide an open and collaborative decision-making environment to create effective public and private partnerships that advance the achievement of energy independence while optimizing Maine’s energy security, economic development, and environmental health.
