Maryland Energy Administration

Created in 1991 as an executive branch agency, the Maryland Energy Administration functions as a coordinating and advisory office for the development and implementation of sound, environmentally responsible energy policies; a deployment office for the U.S. Department of Energy programs and initiatives; and an implementation office for state energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and initiatives.
