News Regarding EE Global Forum 2020

As noted in our last EE Global Forum update, the well-being of our attendees and staff are a top priority. Given the progression and continued uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s EE Global Forum.

The EE Global 2020 theme declared an Efficiency Emergency; in hindsight, we had no idea how much of an emergency we’d find ourselves in. While this is first a public health emergency, the need to prioritize energy efficiency on a global scale is more critical than ever – not just to address the climate crisis, but also to stimulate the economy and increase resiliency during health crises and natural disasters. While we may be unable to convene in person, we can continue the important conversations and highlight the innovative energy efficiency solutions that were planned for the Forum.

Beginning on April 29, the EE Global Forum will be coming to you remotely with a bimonthly series of virtual sessions intended to tackle the Efficiency Emergency and maintain momentum until we reconvene in 2021. We are putting the finishing touches on the virtual agenda and will be in touch shortly with additional details. In the meantime, thank you for your continued support and understanding.
