Dianne Streat: Director

Dianne Marshall Streat brings more than 15 years of experience in a full range of office management procedures in key areas such as human resources and personnel.

As Director of Administration, Ms Streat is responsible for all human resources issues, personnel policies and employee services. Her responsibilities include ensuring the Alliance remains in compliance with all federal, state and local government laws and regulations. Ms Streat plays a key role in the recruiting, interviewing and placing of new employees, coordinating off-site conferences and implementing special education and/or training. In addition, Streat works closely with the Alliance President and Vice President ensuring the lines of communication remain open and accessible to the Alliance’s Board of Directors by keeping current and updated contact information of each Director.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Streat served as Project Administrator with a Washington based management consulting firm, where she supervised three United States Agency for International Development-funded projects; two based in New Delhi, India, one in Kathmandu, Nepal and a World Bank project based in Pakistan. Ms. Streat was applauded for successfully managing, in record time, to secure office space in New Delhi to accommodate three USAID projects. In addition, Streat assisted in all operational negotiations to insure compliance with host country customs, employment and other regulations together with the recruitment of local staff.

Streat began her career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, where she served for 17 ½ years as Executive Assistant with the International Division.
