Jo Tiffany, Alliance to Save Energy's Director of California Education Programs manages the California Green Schools and Green Campus programs, including supervision of office staff, oversight of sub-contractors, writing program reports, curriculum development, and communications with program consultants, participants, advisory committees, funders, and other stakeholders. She works out of the Alliance's Oakland, California office. Ms. Tiffany has over 30 years experience as a manager, educator and professional coach. Before joining the Alliance in 2004, she was owner and principal of CoreWork Coaching & Consulting, where, as a certified professional coach, she provided executive coaching, organizational consultation, facilitation and training for management teams and individual professionals. Ms. Tiffany managed an intensive Leadership Development Institute for the directors and managers of the California Women, Infant and Children’s Association (WIC). After teaching high school for 11 years, Ms. Tiffany held positions as Director of Professional Development for an international law firm and for a major California school reform organization, where she served as a program director, trainer, facilitator and coach for teachers, and school district administrators. In all of her professional roles, Ms. Tiffany has had extensive experience managing complex training and development programs, including leadership, mentoring, team building, and teacher training programs. In her current work with the Green Schools and Green Campus programs, Ms. Tiffany continues her life-long mission to educate and empower people to be effective leaders in the world community. |
