State Energy Plans: State-by-State Summaries

The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 provided $3.1 billion to State Energy Offices for a wide variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and programs. The Department of Energy has approved funding almost all of these State Energy Programs, with a few remaining.

The following chart provides an overview of the State Energy Plans, as gathered from the plans and summaries as submitted to the Department of Energy. Note: These are not summaries of the final plans . For a detailed summary of each state program plan, please refer to individual state pages, hyperlinked below Abbreviations are defined below.
