Sponsored by China Energy Association, the 1st China Guangzhou International New Energy Investment Forum is set to creating a unique forum for international investors to meet policy makers and local projects developers.

A. New Energy Development and Policy
The development of new energy has become the mainstream of the world energy strategy, in 2008, the world's total investment in new energy sources is about 130 billion U.S. dollars, more than 35 percent compound growth rate in 2007.The Chinese Government attaches great importance to and actively develop new energy sources, in recent years have enacted "renewable energy and long-term development plan" and "long-term development plan of nuclear power" and so on, the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2009 put forward the concept of scientific development and industrial restructuring to deal with financial crisis .It’s provide policy, it has provide Policy foundation and driving force to the new energy development.

B. Develop New Energy to Resist Finance Storm.
Global crisis have impacted Guangdong's economic, with the development of new energy to resist the global financial crisis have a positive significance for Guangdong. Observed in other countries of the New Energy and regional development policies, such as the United States through a new energy policy to stimulate the economy, Germany's new energy price subsidies for the development of new energy policy and so on, we can see that the development of new energy is a new idea to fight the financial crisis.

C. Pearl River Delta's new energy development opportunities
The rapid development of the Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai region has provided us with valuable experience. Pearl River Delta relatively slow development in new energy industry, but strong economic strength, the development of the direction is clear, can make use of the good opportunity (financial crisis) for the development of the Pearl River Delta's new energy industry, so that the tremendous energy released idle funds, bringing more employment opportunities, better implement the policy of industrial restructuring. Through three decades of reform and opening up, Guangdong has accumulated a large amount of industrial capital, private capital, by the structural adjustment can be transferred from the low-capital, venture capital and so on, is "capital", as a result of excess capital flows, make it part of the funds frequented the property market and the stock market.
Therefore, China Energy Association attaches great importance to sponsor this exhibition, which will be held on July 28-30, 2009 at Guangzhou Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center. This would adhere to "Cooperation, Development and Win-win” situation, the purpose of this platform is to provide financing energy projects, to promote industrial development, to gain more profit from investment, and accelerate the development of new energy sources markets.
