Launched in 2004, the Alliance to Save Energy’s “Great Energy Efficiency Day” (GEED) provides insights on the need for and benefits of energy efficiency. GEEDs draw hundreds of stakeholders from business, industry, government, academia, and the public interest sector.
This GEED features keynote remarks by Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and seven U.S. senators and representatives and panel discussions with industry executives, environmental organization leaders, state energy officials, and other energy efficiency leaders.
Panel discussions with leading energy voices will focus on:
- Incentives to Drive Energy Efficiency in the Utility Sector
- Is Business Ready to “Ramp Up” Energy Efficiency to Its Full Potential?
- Measuring Success: The Challenge of Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification
