The Clean and Efficient Energy Program for public power (CEEP) is a new 3-year nationwide initiative promoting investment in energy efficiency and clean energy by publicly-owned utilities.
CEEP intends to package and distill existing best practice and case study resources into modular “toolkits” for public power managers. In addition to vetting already available resources for their relevance to public power, CEEP will develop targeted information; provide access to public power energy efficiency program experts; and encourage peer-exchange. CEEP also will offer turnkey program models and downloadable template materials, so that public power utilities can quickly implement market-tested activities. CEEP resources will be deployed through regional workshops, and participating program managers will have access to ongoing CEEP technical and program administration assistance.
