Megan Campion is an education professional with over ten years experience specializing in education, curriculum development, communications, and marketing.
She joined the Alliance to Save Energy in August 2009 as a senior program associate, and is now a program manager with the Education team whose work is focused on K-12 energy efficiency programs. Integrating project-based learning into a standards-based curriculum has been her primary focus of interest in her educational career.
In addition to her experience in education, Ms. Campion has also worked in communications and publishing. She worked as a freelance editor and researcher for clients including trade association magazines, university course catalogs, and non-fiction publishers.
She began her professional life at Congressional Quarterly, Inc., where she worked with the books division on the editorial design and production team, coordinating with freelance proofreaders and copyeditors, and providing photo research for books including The Encyclopedia of Politics and Religion, and The Supreme Court A-Z.
Ms. Campion received her B.A. in History from Trinity College, and her M. Ed. From Marymount University.
