The Earth Apple Awards program is an annual, year-long competition for K-12 schools that involve students in saving energy in their school buildings. The grand prize winner is recognized publicly and presented with a trophy and prize. Every school that enters receives a prize, with top winners receiving exciting prizes to help them continue their energy saving work, such as laptops, tool kits, digital cameras and digital camcorders.
