State Policy BriefsAn important resource for anyone interested in energy policy at the state level, the State Energy Efficiency Policy briefs are specifically designed to provide state officials and those who track and analyze state legislation with a concise and focused review of the policy options available to state governments in promoting energy efficiency. This series has been developed by the Alliance together with Matthew Brown, President of InterEnergy Solutions of Denver, Colo. With many years of experience as the Energy Program Director at the National Conference of State Legislatures, Mr. Brown offers state officials and policymakers valuable information and insight as they consider how to develop and refine new energy efficiency policies. Spotlight On: Brief #5: State-Run Energy Efficiency Outreach ProgramsThis state policy brief analyzes several outreach programs operated by various states to encourage energy efficiency and raise awareness about the issue.
