Alliance interns perform substantive work in cooperation with leading energy and environmental professionals while learning about energy-efficiency policies and programs in a supportive working environment. Interns support the Alliance though research, writing, database management, and other programmatic and administrative duties.
Interns work full-time during regular offices hours (normally Monday through Friday; 9:00 am to 5:30 pm) and receive an hourly wage and a monthly public transportation stipend. All intern positions occur in our office in Washington, DC; we do not offer telecommuting internships.
Internships are available on a rotating basis:
- Summer (May thru Sep);
- Fall (Aug thru Dec); and
- Spring (Jan thru May).
