With funding from the Energy Foundation, the Alliance to Save Energy has assisted the Ministry of Construction of China in developing procedures for testing, simulating and labeling fenestration product energy performance characteristics.
In 2007, the Ministry of Construction has started pilot implementation of a fenestration energy efficiency labeling program. The Alliance will continue to support the establishment of this program as well as the education of stakeholders in the Chinese fenestration and construction industry.
