One of the Alliance to Save Energy’s most important goals is to be recognized as the key source for timely, accurate information on energy, energy efficiency and related issues. The Alliance’s communications and marketing team helps make this goal a reality by using print, television, radio, and web-based media to raise the Alliance’s profile and to disseminate information on energy-efficiency policy and money-saving energy-efficiency tips to help consumers lower their energy bills.
The Alliance to Save Energy's communications and marketing team has become known for its effective and innovative consumer home and vehicle energy-efficiency campaigns and its award-winning PSA campaigns. In addition, the Alliance’s dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly web site has become the go-to place for breaking and major news on energy and energy efficiency for policy makers and consumers alike. Additional communications vehicles – News You Can Use, a daily email clipping service; e-FFICIENCY NEWS, a monthly electronic newsletter – help deliver the Alliance’s energy-efficiency message across the nation and around the world.
