The Efficient Windows Collaborative is a coalition of window, door, skylight, and component manufacturers, research organizations, federal, state and local government agencies, and others interested in expanding the market for energy-efficient windows. Its goals are to double the current market penetration of efficient window technologies, and to make NFRC (energy rating) labeling of new windows a near-universal practice in U.S. markets.The Alliance to Save Energy has the lead coordination and management role for the EWC. Using its active involvement with the energy efficiency industry and its experience in promoting energy efficient products, the Alliance is committed to working with the fenestration industry to make the Collaborative an effective force in the marketplace.Visit the EWC web site for unbiased information on energy efficient windows, including how they work, the various benefits of using them, and how to choose the right one for your climate.
