Alex Straub

Alexandra Straub is the Project Manager for Corporate and Executive Relations . Alex is responsible for developing and managing the president’s speeches and presentations and other industry-related events.  She also manages the Alliance’s activities at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and serves as the liaison between the president and outside organizations involved in other Alliance executive office projects, e.g. EU-ASE and the League of Green Embassies activities. 

Alex began her career with the Alliance in 2006 as the Policy Team’s intern. The internship proved to make a lasting impression as Alex returned to the Alliance in 2009 as the Executive Assistant to the President.

Before joining the Alliance as a full-time employee, Alex was a Development Associate at the Washington, DC-based information services research firm, Hanover Research Council. While at Hanover, Alex assisted the Managing Director in the creation of the company’s grant development and management program, Hanover Grants. 

Alex is a native of El Paso, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2008. She is a diehard ‘Dores fan and also has a keen interest in World War II history.
