Jennifer Alvarez

Jennifer Alvarez is Project Manager working on the Green Schools Program in southern California. Ms. Alvarez has been part of the Education Team since 2005 and has vast experience in event planning & logistics, budget tracking and administration, and program implementation and management.

Prior to working on the Green Schools Program, Ms. Alvarez was responsible for the management of oversight of four university intern teams participating in the Green Campus Program. Currently working as a Local Project Leader on the Green Schools Program, Ms. Alvarez provides programmatic support and training in energy efficiency measures to 20 schools in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and Lake Elsinore Unified School District working closely with district administrators, principals, teachers, custodians, and student leaders.

Ms. Alvarez received a Building Operators Certification, Level I in 2010, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Environmental Studies/Sustainable Development in 2004.
