As CEO of the Americas for Signify, the world leader in lighting, Kevin Poyck is responsible for accelerating the company’s leadership position and managing all commercial and operational activities to best serve customers in the North, South and Central America. He oversees the company’s complete product portfolio from conventional and LED products to connected lighting systems and services which are transforming our cities, homes and workspaces and changing how people, places and devices interact.
A lighting industry veteran, he has significant experience driving growth, building successful teams and strengthening customer relationships during times of rapid transformation. Kevin joined Signify from Hubbell Inc. where he held various leadership positions in the past 14 years including most recently as Group President, responsible for the overall management of the lighting company and its 4,000 employees across North America and China. Prior to that, he held a variety of leadership roles at companies including Maytag and Cooper Industries, where his leadership experience spanned multiple disciplines including product development, engineering and operations.
Kevin is actively involved with the National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA) and Clemson University, serving in executive board advisory roles for both organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and has been awarded four US patents related to automated system design.
