Ratish Namboothiry is the Vice President, Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility for Legrand, North and Central America (LNCA), part of Legrand - the world specialist in providing a broad range of end-to-end solutions that deliver power, light and data to residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. Ratish reports to the CEO of LNCA and is a member of the executive committee. He and his team are responsible for embedding Sustainability and CSR into the core business and its culture. Much of Ratish’s own focus is on ensuring the successful integration of sustainability and CSR across all brands and companies acquired by LNCA to help deliver results against LNCA’s annual and long-term CSR road map targets. Ratish has been with Legrand since January 2024. 

 

Ratish holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mumbai University in India. Prior to joining Legrand, Ratish was the Director of Sustainability and the Director of an inhouse innovation incubator called Innovation for Good at Kohler Co, a global leader in plumbing products and hospitality services. 

 

Ratish has extensive experience designing and implementing energy efficient products and solutions for the built environment, leading global innovation teams, managing business unit P&L’s and leading the integration of sustainability strategy into businesses. Ratish has previously been on the boards of Sustainability Leadership Council for University of Wisconsin – Madison and the Engineering Advisory board for University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
