Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Lead the development of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Utilize your extensive experience in policy and advocacy to craft messaging and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, from conception to implementation. Ensure campaigns are targeted, impactful, and aligned with business and policy goals.
- Partnership Management: Serve as a strong manager of internal and external partners, fostering collaborative relationships to support marketing and communications objectives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment.
- Executive Presence: Possess strong executive presence and communication skills, representing the organization effectively in external-facing initiatives, including media engagements, thought leadership opportunities, and events.
- PR Strategy and Media Relations: Demonstrate comfort with PR strategies, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives. Develop and execute media outreach plans, cultivate relationships with key media contacts, and secure earned media coverage to enhance organizational visibility.
- Support of Business and Policy Goals: Demonstrate a proven track record of supporting business and policy goals through effective marketing and communications initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to measure and optimize performance.
- Content Creation and Branding: Leverage your proficiency in writing, integrated marketing communications, and content creation to develop compelling messaging and content across various channels. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to messaging guidelines.
- Event Strategy: Lead the development of event strategies and oversee the execution of events to support marketing and communications objectives. Coordinate logistics, manage event budgets, and ensure seamless execution.
- Budget Management and Team Leadership: Manage marketing and communications budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and communications professionals, to execute strategies and campaigns with excellence.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools and platforms to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts. Provide regular reporting and insights to inform decision-making and optimization strategies. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on policy and advocacy.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.
- Proven track record of supporting business and policy goals through effective marketing and communications initiatives.
- Proficiency in content creation, branding, earned media, analytics, and reporting.
- Comfort with PR strategies, media relations, thought leadership, and event strategy.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational objectives into actionable marketing and communications plans.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
