Copper Development Association
The Copper Development Association (CDA) is the market development, engineering and information services arm of the copper industry in the United States.
Among its activities, CDA provides:
- Technical services to end users
- Design, product and technical publications
- Research and development
- News bureau and website
The Copper Data Center CDA strives to educate electrical end users on the value of maximizing electrical energy efficiency.
It promotes the many returns on investment afforded by premium-efficiency motors, transformers and upsized wiring. It led research in development of the die-cast copper motor rotor that enables the highest levels of motor efficiency.
