The Department of Energy will present a live webcast titled “National Energy Literacy Virtual Town Hall” on Tuesday, August 5, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. 

This webinar will feature a conversation about nationwide efforts to address energy illiteracy through the Department of Energy's Energy Literacy Framework. The webinar will consist of presentations highlighting national, new media, and local efforts using e-books, experiential curriculum, and best practices in energy education. Attendees will also learn about resources to help shape the teaching and learning of energy topics.

The goal of this webinar is to share resources for energy education and provide attendees with opportunities to connect. Attendees may include teachers, administrators, science or STEM coordinators, and anyone else interested in energy education.
